Nigeria Plans to Withdraw 1,200 Troops for Mali

In an attempt to strengthen its northern territories, Nigeria brings home a proportion of its troop from Mali

Ivory Coast President Alassane Ouattara revealed that Nigeria is planning to withdraw 1,200 troops from Mali because of problems the country is having with militant Islamic insurgents. 12,600 African troops are currently in Mali operating in a group known as Minusma.
