Suleiman Ibikunle Tella says mass unemployment is threatening the security of the country

PMA President Suleiman Ibikunle Tella asked the Nigerian government to improve public infrastructure across the country. Mr Tella pointed out that bad road conditions and temperamental power supplies are holding back the growth of Nigeria.

Lack of adequate patronage of local goods is one of the challenges facing entrepreneurs. Government should lead the campaign for improved consumption of locally-produced goods.

Mr Tella urged the government to declare “a state of emergency on unemployment”. Mr Tella said mass unemployment is threatening the security of the country. If the government tackles the unemployment issues, it will find the crime rate will drop dramatically.
